EXETRA IN SUPPORT OF SCOTTA PROJECTS

·        Two plants for the production of hydroelectric energy of Scotta SpA have been exported to Albania

·        The contract, worth 7 million euro, was finalised by Exetra (Intesa Sanpaolo Group)

Turin/Milan, 24 July 2020 - Exetra, an Intesa Sanpaolo Group company, supported the export to Albania of the turbines built by Scotta SpA intended for two hydroelectric plants in Albania.

Exetra finalised the 7 million euro contract with an Albanian customer, offering a 5-year payment extension.

Scotta SpA is one of the leading Italian companies in the design, construction and installation of hydroelectric power plants and power plants from other renewable sources, plants for the generation of electricity and industrial automation. The production of all electrical and mechanical components takes place at the Villafalletto plant where over 100 employees are employed.

Exetra is a company 85% owned by the Intesa Sanpaolo Group with the remaining share being held by SCB Market Traders Srl. Thanks to the services and solutions that Exetra provides to support the development of trade and export operations, an increasing number of Made in Italy companies is able to compete in foreign countries, expanding and diversifying their target market, obtaining cash payments even where the foreign customer receives competitive payment extensions and entrusting Exetra with the handling of all shipping and customs procedures and relations with banks and institutions.
