INTESA SANPAOLO:  ALITALIA

 

Turin - Milan, October 15th 2013 – At its meeting today, the Management Board of Intesa Sanpaolo decided:
- to subscribe to the increase in the share capital of Alitalia for an amount of €26 million;
- to underwrite up to €50 million of any unsubscribed shares, once shares unsubscribed during the 30-day period for the exercise of option rights have been subscribed by shareholders after they have subscribed to all the newly issued shares pertaining to them, and by Poste Italiane, up to its €75 million underwriting commitment;
- to grant under the aforementioned underwriting commitment an advance of up to €50 million.
Therefore, Intesa Sanpaolo’s maximum commitment to the Alitalia capital increase is €76 million.
