Support for Public Administration In order to promote the country's development and economic growth, Intesa Sanpaolo has six priority areas for intervention: - credit for infrastructure projects

- financing urban development projects and area enhancement
- innovation of complex administration procedures to simplify banking operations for public bodies and companies.
The Intesa Sanpaolo Group pays constant attention to the public sector at large and takes part in major events for Public Administration, such as the PA Forum and the Assemblea Annuale dell’Associazione Nazionale dei Comuni Italiani (Annual Assembly of the National Association of Italian Municipalities - ANCI) and the Tradeshow Forum Risorse Comuni (Common Resources) organised by ANCI Lombardia, with special focus on innovation and sustainability issues. Within the scope of these events, the Bank intends to seize new opportunities for dialogue to promote an innovative partnership between the public and private sectors, based on shared needs and tools to be used, by organising specific workshops for in-depth analysis dedicated to the administrators and managers of Local Entities on topics of relevance to the area. More in general, the International and Regulatory Affairs Department manages relations with the representatives of national institutions and supports Group's top management and main departments, promoting and steering relations with central and local Public Administration, associations, professional organisation and economic/political research centers, with the aim of: monitoring the evolution of domestic regulations, which are of the greatest impact for the Group, in order to exploit business opportunities for its commercial structures ensuring the coordination of the relationship with ABI, supporting the activities of the Group's representatives in technical and regional bodies in order to guarantee the fair representation of the Group's positions and ensuring the necessary assistance to the top management at the meetings of the Executive Committee and the Association Council performing analysis and ensuring the monitoring of the main national public policies and regional development policies, creating insight of projects, proposals and initiatives, as well as reports and periodic papers on the same subjects promoting meetings with representatives of the institutions and organizing events aimed to convey the Group's position and commitment in the various sectors of the national economy.
