INTESA SANPAOLO: MOODY'S PLACES RATINGS ON REVIEW AFTER DOWNGRADE OF ITALY
Torino, Milano, February 16th 2012 – Intesa Sanpaolo announces that Moody's has placed the Bank’s ‘A2’ long-term rating, its ‘P-1’ short-term rating and its ‘C+’ Bank Financial Strength Rating on review for downgrade. On February 13th 2012, Moody's had lowered the Republic of Italy’s long-term rating to ‘A3’, with a negative outlook, and its short-term rating to ‘P-2’.
