Intesa Sanpaolo is an Official Event Sponsor of the 2014 Women's World Volleyball Championships.
This year, the 17th World Championships, first held in Russia in 1952, will be hosted by Italy for the first time. Twenty-four national sides will take part with 102 matches held in six cities: Rome, Trieste, Verona, Bari, Modena and Milan. The tournament will begin in Rome and conclude in Milan.

Intesa Sanpaolo Main Sponsor of the Italia Team and of Casa Italia at the Winter Olympics

Intesa Sanpaolo, confirming its long tradition of commitment towards italian sport, is Main Sponsor of the Italia Team and of Casa Italia at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, from 7 to 23 February.
Events will take place in Adler, where the Olympic Park is located, and in the mountain village of Rosa Khutor.
Intesa Sanpaolo, main partner of Coni, will be present at Casa Italia, the headquarters of the Italia Team, partners, media and international guests.
XVIII Men's Volleyball World Championship 2010

Intesa Sanpaolo, which has always been closely involved with the world of sport and the values it represents, is participating as Top Sponsor in the XVIII Men's Volleyball World Championship, confirming its long tradition of commitment towards major sports events in Italy. The Men's Volleyball World Championship returns to Italy after more than 30 years. The 2010 edition involves 24 national Teams who - between 25 September and 10 October - will play 78 matches in 10 cities all over Italy: Milan, Turin, Trieste, Verona, Reggio Calabria, Modena, Ancona, Catania, Florence and Rome. In view of this territorial extension, the 2010 Volleyball World Championship also represents an excellent opportunity for visibility, not only for Intesa Sanpaolo, but also for the banks of the Banca dei Territori Division present in the competition venue cities. In effect Banca CR Firenze, Banco di Napoli, Banca dell'Adriatico, Carisbo, CR Veneto and CR Friuli Venezia Giulia are also involved in the sponsorship.
Intesa Sanpaolo will be the Italian team's sponsor in the adventure of the Ski World Cup held in Vancouver. The team of 109 athletes - 69 men and 40 women - will participate in 13 of the 15 sports envisaged by the Winter Olympics programme. Intesa Sanpaolo has been the Official Sponsor of CONI (Italian National Olympics Committee), of the Italian National Olympics team and of Casa Italia since 2008. The bank also sponsored the Italian national team both at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and at the 2009 Mediterranean Games. In Vancouver Intesa Sanpaolo's stand will be located in Casa Italia, which is fitted out in the Roundhouse. This suggestive example of industrial archaeology is situated in the heart of the city and has a 50 m² hospitality area for guests and sports champions participating in the Games. Moreover, in the Whistler skiing resort - 125 km to the north of Vancouver - Casa Italia has been assigned space where Intesa Sanpaolo will organise hospitality initiatives. This will be the landmark for those who wish to follow Alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, luge, ski jumping, biathlon, bobsleighing and Nordic combined competitions that will be held in the area.
