Management of risks along the supply chain - Intesa Sanpaolo
Management of risks along the supply chain
Aware of the risks that could arise from suppliers’ non-compliant behaviour with Group policies and the need to implement appropriate mitigation measures, Intesa Sanpaolo adopts towards them an approach that relies on the promotion of behaviours oriented to the protection of the environment and the respect for human rights and workers, ensuring that suppliers tend to reach them.
During the registration to the Supplier Portal, candidates are requested to read the Organisation, Management and Control Model (Legislative Decree 231/2001), the Intesa Sanpaolo's Internal Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics. In the event that they become our suppliers, the contractual clauses to be signed include the commitment to adhere to the principles contained in the above-mentioned documents. The registration phase also requires the supplier to fill out a questionnaire that includes, in addition to the personal details, a section dedicated to social and environmental responsibility.
Statements made by suppliers are verified through a sample monitoring system, which focuses on product categories considered particularly risky and on cases deemed worthy of detailed investigation. Read more
