Engagement initiatives for International Subsidiary Banks OneDesk OneDesk is the cooperation and co-working portal for Subsidiary banks, launched in September 2016. The portal is mainly for colleagues at the head offices of the International Banks Division, of Banks and Parent Company units working with them, but is potentially extended to all Group colleagues.
OneDesk promotes interaction and cooperation among colleagues, breaking down geographic barriers and increasing networking opportunities on both a professional and personal level. It is a considerable information source about international banks and also showcases the Group's international dimension. This improves efficiency and effectiveness at work, thanks to a virtual workspace where individuals and work teams can share and work on the same files and projects. In June 2017 7 workspaces are active and there are over 7,800 registered users (out of a target of around 9,000 colleagues). Human capital development in the International Subsidiary Banks through communication
In each of the Group's Subsidiary Banks, a person has been appointed responsible for managing the communication initiatives for colleagues through dedicated channels and tools implemented locally (house organ, intranet, newsletters), or provided by the parent company (international Web Tv).
This community is particularly important for the creation of a common corporate culture that encourages the participation of all colleagues in the life of our Group, despite diversity (language, culture, etc.). Several initiatives are therefore aimed at ensuring for these colleagues an adequate level of professional development and at enhancing the richness of diversity, passion and professionalism which is the hallmark of this community. What's Up?!, the internal newsletter of the International Subsidiary Banks Division
Conceived in 2007, What's Up?! is one of the main channels of internal communication of the International Subsidiary Banks Division. In each issue, about fifty Italian and foreign colleagues contribute sharing best practices and projects in the various fields of the activity of banks and product companies.
In 2013, What's Up?! was re-launched with a new layout and new contents; a section dedicated to the communication of CSR strategic projects, "Sustainable Growth” was created, intended to promote the various CSR local activities and to strengthen the Intesa Sanpaolo Group CSR model, according to the principles expressed in the Code of Ethics. One of its features is the approach towards the respect of the specificity, that in a multicultural context such as that of International Banks takes on a particular significance. What's Up?! is available on the various electronic channels of the Group (Group and local intranet). Initiatives and events dedicated to Subsidiary Bank's colleagues
