Lawyer and University Professor, he taught Administrative law and Institutions of public law at Università Cattolica in Milano. He retired from University teaching in 2001.

Enrico Salza (Torino, 1937).
Chairman of the Management Board of Intesa Sanpaolo since January 2007.
On 29 April 2004 he was nominated as Chairman of Sanpaolo IMI Group, after having held the office of Deputy Chairman since 2001.
He is an entrepreneur, Chief Executive Officer of Tecno Holding SpA and Chairman of Italconsult S.p.A. Former Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of Turin and of Unioncamere Piemonte, he was Chief Executive Officer of Cerved until 2002, U.B.S. Director in Italy and Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of "Il Sole 24 Ore" from 1971 to 1989, as well as Director of Compagnia di San Paolo.
Founder and first Chairman of Confindustria Young Entrepreneurs, he is currently Honorary Chairman of ASP (Associazione Sviluppo Scientifico e Tecnologico of Piedmont) and member of the Board of Governors of ICC (International Chamber of Commerce).

Corrado Passera (Como, 1954).
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Intesa Sanpaolo since January 2007, having previously held the office of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Banca Intesa from May 2002.
He also serves on the Board of Directors of Bocconi University.
He is a Director and Member of the Executive Committee of ABI (the Italian Banking Association), the Scientific Advisory Committee of the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa, the International Advisory Board of Wharton School and the General Board of the Venice Cini Foundation.
He started his professional career in 1980 in McKinsey where he remained for 5 years, followed by a move to CIR, where he occupied the post of General Manager up to 1990. From 1988 to 1995 he was Deputy Chairman of Credito Romagnolo. He then transferred to the publishing sector where he was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Arnoldo Mondadori Editore and then Deputy Chairman and CEO of the Espresso-Repubblica Group. In 1992 he left publishing to join the Olivetti Group as its Co-CEO.
In 1996 he returned to the banking sector when he was appointed Managing Director and CEO of Banco Ambrosiano Veneto where he remained until he had completed the consolidation with CARIPLO.
In 1998 he took over as CEO of Poste Italiane where he stayed until April 2002.

Giovanni Boccolini (Gualdo Tadino, 1954).
Head of the International Subsidiary Banks Division of Intesa Sanpaolo since January 2007, having previously held the office of Head of the Italian and Foreign Banks Divisions of Banca Intesa. He graduated in Nuclear Engineering at Università degli Studi in Roma in 1979. After a career as a researcher at ENEA, he got his Master's Degree in Economy and Management at the Scuola Superiore Enrico Mattei in Milan (ENI) in 1982. In 1982 he served as Organisation and Systems Consultant for SG2, an affiliate of the Société Générale Group, at the company's main office in Paris and then in Milan.
In 1985 he joined Barclays Bank as Head of the Management Information Systems department. He joined the Ambroveneto Group in 1986, serving in the Organisation and Systems department with increasing responsibilities until he became Head of the Organisation and Systems Unit of Banco Ambrosiano Veneto. From June 1998 to May 2001 he served as General Manager of Carime, a Banca Intesa Group subsidiary and in June 2001 was appointed Managing Director of IntesaBci Italia Sim, which subsequently became Banca Primavera. He is currently a member of the Boards of Intesa Holding International, Bank of Alexandria, Associazione Bancaria Italiana, Pravex-Bank and Exelia Srl.

Mario Ciaccia (Roma, 1947).
Managing Director and General Manager of Banca Infrastrutture Innovazione e Sviluppo. His career includes many years in the world of public service, with a range of roles: Magistrate of the "Corte dei Conti" (Italian state audit court), member of the self-governing body of the Corte dei conti, Deputy Head of Cabinet for the Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Head of the Institutional Reforms Department for the Office of the President of the Council of Ministers, and Head of Cabinet for the Minister of Cultural Heritage and Activities. He was also chairman of "ARCUS S.p.A.", the Society for the Development of Art, Culture and Performing Arts. A lecturer in law and economics, he is the author of numerous publications about related issues. He ventured into the banking industry in 2002, as the Head of the Institutional Relationships unit and State/Infrastructures unit for Banca Intesa; following the merger of Banca Intesa and Sanpaolo IMI, he became Managing Director and General Manager of Banca Intesa Infrastrutture e Sviluppo, and Chairman and Managing Director of Banca OPI. He is currently serving as a member of the board and executive council of Rome's Union of Industrial Firms and Businesses, a board member of the "Istituto Affari Internazionali" and a member of the executive committee of the Friends Association of the "Accademia dei Lincei". He is also a member of the chairman's committee of the "Civita" Association, and honorary President of Chamber of the Corte dei Conti.
Matteo Colafrancesco (Vico del Gargano, 1951).
Managing Director and General Manager of Banca Fideuram since June 2007. A graduate in Law at the University of Torino, the first position he held was in Banca CRT before joining Banca Fideuram in 1984. From 1987 he was an Area Manager in Sanpaolo Invest SIM, where he progressively covered more important posts until appointment as General Manager of the company in 2005. In July 2007 he became Managing Director of Sanpaolo Invest SIM and a member of the Board of Fideuram Investimenti SGR. From 1999 to 2003 he was a member of the Executive committee of the organisation in charge of the financial advisors register and from 1998 to 2003 a member of the regional commission of the Valle d'Aosta financial advisors register. Since 2006 he has also been a member of the Assoreti Governing council and since 2008 Deputy Chairman of the Assoreti Chairmanship committee.
Pier Luigi Curcuruto (Arezzo, 1950).
Chief Operating Officer of Intesa Sanpaolo, appointed to the post in December 2008. A graduate in Electronic Engineering specialised in Information Systems at the University of Bologna in 1975, he joined Italtel and later moved to System & Management (S&M), purchased in 1994 by EDS, where he became General Manager for the Italian Finance department and then Head of the EDS Marketing European Banking Industry. In 1997 he joined Banca Popolare di Milano as General Manager in charge of Information Technology Services and then became responsible for the "we@bank" Internet Banking project. In 2000 he joined the Sanpaolo IMI Group as Head of the Macchina Operativa Integrata and successfully managed the mergers of Banco di Napoli and of the Cardine Group. In January 2007 he was appointed Head of the ICT Systems department of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group and carried out the integration process of the information technology systems within the Group.

Carlo Messina (Roma, 1962).
Chief Financial Officer of Intesa Sanpaolo, appointed to the post in June 2008. A graduate of Economics and Business from the Luiss University of Roma, he began his professional career in the Finance department of Banca Nazionale del Lavoro in 1987 rising to the position of Manager in charge of Corporate Finance in 1990. While developing his professional career, he carried out intense academic activities as Professor of Economics of Financial Intermediaries at the Business Administration Master of the Luiss School of Management and Professor of Corporate Finance at the Faculty of Economics and Business of Ancona. In 1995 he joined Banco Ambrosiano Veneto as manager in charge of the Planning Department. He held important positions through different integration stages: Head of Planning and Research and of the Control department within Intesa BCI; Head of the Planning and Control department and Head of the Risk Management department within Banca Intesa; Head of the Value Creation Governance in Intesa Sanpaolo until June 2008. He currently sits on the Boards of Directors of Fondo Interbancario di Tutela dei Depositi, of Banca Prossima and of Intesa Sanpaolo Group Services.

Gaetano Miccichè (Palermo, 1950).
General Manager of Intesa Sanpaolo since February 2010, Head of the Corporate and Investment Banking Division of Intesa Sanpaolo since January 2007 and CEO of Banca IMI since October 2007. He graduated in Law and obtained his MBA degree with honours from SDA Bocconi in 1984. In February 1971 he began his professional career in Cassa di Risparmio delle Provincie Siciliane where he became Head of Corporate Clients. In April 1989 he joined Rodriquez, the Luxury Yachting Group, as Chief Financial Officer. In November 1992 he became General Manager and later Liquidating Administrator of Gerolimich-Unione Manifatture, a holding company with stakes in various industrial sectors. In January 1996 he became General Manager of Santa Valeria, a chemical industrial company quoted on the Italian Stock Exchange. From October 1997 to June 2002 he served as Managing Director and General Manager of Olcese, the leading Yarn and Thread Mill manufacturing company quoted on the stock market. In June 2002 he joined Banca Intesa. He is also currently member of the Boards of Telecom Italia, Alitalia, Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori - NTV, ABI and Intesa Sanpaolo Group Services.

Mauro Micillo (Desenzano del Garda, 1970).
Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Eurizon Capital SGR since October 2009. A graduate of Economics and Business in 1994 at the Statale University in Brescia, Italy, he subsequently specialized in Currency Management and International Finance and started his career firstly in Fin-eco Sim and then in IMI Fideuram Asset Management. Afterwards, he moved to Fin-eco Investimenti SGR as Fixed Income Director. In 2000 he was appointed Chief Investment Officer of Banca Esperia and Member of the Board of Directors of Duemme Hedge SGR. In 2002 he joined the Capitalia Group as Holding Director (in charge of Group Finance) and in 2005 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the group's asset management companies: Capitalia Asset Management SGR, Capitalia Investimenti Alternativi SGR and Capitalia Investment Management S.A.. At the end of 2007 he became Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of the Banca Popolare di Vicenza Group, as well as a Member of the Board of Directors of BPVI Fondi SGR, BPVI Finance Ireland, Vicenza Life Ltd and Berica Vita SpA. At the beginning of 2008 he also started sitting on the Board of Directors of Arca SGR. He was formerly Vice-President of 21 Investimenti Partners SpA and a Member of the Executive Committees of Assogestioni and of the European Commission's Expert Group on Market Efficiency.

Marco Morelli (Roma, 1961).
General Manager Deputy to the CEO of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group and Head of the Banca dei Territori Division since March 2010.
Previously Deputy General Manager of Banca MPS since June 2006, in charge of Corporate Banking Capital Market until June 2008 when he was appointed CFO of the Montepaschi Group, still holding office as Deputy General Manager. He was also the Managing Director of Mps Capital Services Banca per le Imprese.
Before joining the MPS Group, he had also been CEO and General Manager of J.P. Morgan Italia and a member of J.P. Morgan Europe Executive Committee. Previously he had also worked for Ubs, Samuel Montagu and formerly for Kpmg.
A graduate of Economics and Business from the Luiss University of Roma, he is also Chartered Accountant and Auditor.

Bruno Picca (Paesana, 1950).
Chief Risk Officer of Intesa Sanpaolo, appointed to the post in June 2008. Graduated in Economics from the University of Torino, he is registered as a business consultant and an Auditor. He worked for a short period as a researcher at the Torino-based Agnelli Foundation and then moved to SIP (now Telecom Italia) in the Control department. He joined Sanpaolo Group in February 1976 where he served first in the territorial branches and then within different Head Office departments (Corporate Affairs, Shareholdings, Accounting, Control and Finance). He held the post of Chief Financial Officer of the Sanpaolo IMI Group for several years and from 2003 to 2005 he was Managing Director of the Italian Branch Network of Sanpaolo and Managing Director of Banco di Napoli. From January 2007, when Intesa Sanpaolo was set up, to June 2008 he was the manager in charge of preparing the Company's financial reports and Head of the Administration Governance. He is currently also a Member of the Board of the Executive Committee of the Fondo Interbancario di Tutela dei Depositi as well as Chairman of the Statutory Auditors of the Cassa di Previdenza of Intesa Sanpaolo and a member of the Board of Intesa Sanpaolo Holding International S.A..

Eugenio Rossetti (Roma, 1956).
Chief Lending Officer of Intesa Sanpaolo, appointed to the post in July 2008. A graduate in Mechanical Engineering at La Sapienza University in Roma, he began his professional career at Istituto Mobiliare Italiano in Roma in 1982 as a technical-financial analyst in the field of lending to major corporates. From 1988 to 1994 he worked in different branches of Istituto Mobiliare Italiano: in Milano as a promoter, in Brescia as Head of the Promoter Agency, in Bari as Head of the Regional Area. From 1994 to 1998 he was with IMI Bank in Luxembourg where he rose to the post of General Manager and was appointed member of the Executive Committee. From January to August 1999 he was Head of the Foreign Credit department of the Sanpaolo IMI Parent Company. From September 1999 to April 2002 he worked at the London branch of the Sanpaolo IMI Group first as manger of the branch, then as Head of the Euro Area. From 2002 to 2006 he was in charge of the Large Corporate department and subsequently of the Credit department of the Sanpaolo IMI Group. From January 2007 to July 2008 he was Head of the Lending Decisions department within the Intesa Sanpaolo Group.
